Michael Jackson föddes 1958 och slog igenom redan som barn tillsammans med sina syskon i gruppen Jackson Five. Redan 1972 kom solodebuten och med de Quincy Jones-producerade skivorna Off the wall (1979) och Thriller (1982) fortsatte framgångarna explosionsartat. Thriller är en av de bäst säljande skivorna någonsin.
Jackson lämnar efter sig tre barn: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson och Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.De är med stor sorg han nu har lämnat världen. Vorde de inte för Michael, the king of pop, så hade inte musiken varit den samma idag. Han var en stor idol för många, en bra artist, sångare och dansare. Du är the one and only king of the pop.
